Dear Members and Families:
I hope that this message finds you and your families healthy and safe from the current pandemic.
We have all had to make tremendous personal and professional adjustments in our lives over the last six weeks due to the Coronavirus. So has your Club. Who would have imagined in February that our fine dining club would have to rely on “drive through” business as its sole source of revenue?
Since rolling out our carry out program, we have been successful in keeping several of our prized staff working while supplying safely prepared delicious meals for our members. Until we get the all clear from the governor, we will continue to offer a delicious home dining experience Thursday through Saturday for your enjoyment. As you make your plans for dinner, please keep your Club in mind and help us while we serve you.
The love and support shown to the Club and its employees over the last month has been heartwarming. For all of you that have taken advantage of the carry out dinner service, thank you! For all of you that have dined multiple times a week from the Club, thank you for your support. For all the members that have contributed to the virus fund, your generosity has not gone unnoticed. And I thank you for your special support. And for those past presidents of our Club that have stepped up in supporting the Club through both the virus fund and carry out service, your example of leadership and dedication to our Club shines bright and will not be forgotten. On behalf of your current board, our general manager and staff, THANK YOU.
But we are not out of the woods yet. If you have been supporting your Club’s carry out dining service, we ask that you continue. If you haven’t had a chance to let Laura and the crew cook for you, please be our guest. You will not be disappointed. If you haven’t had a chance to support the virus fund which aims to bring some financial equity to our staff, please consider contributing. It is never too late to show your gratitude and support for our wonderful Club. During the crisis, our members have been truly remarkable.
Until we meet again at the Club (or in the dive through pick up), I hope that you and your home and work families stay safe from both physical and economic harm during this health crisis.
Wishing all our Members the Best,
Huron River Hunting & Fishing Club
